Come and join us as we praise and glorify our Lord.
Trungley Hall
Zion, Trungley Hall is located 18km North of Temora (71 Schuberts Rd), nestled near a small cluster of houses. This is the location of regular Sunday services and our Easter dawn service is held outside at this location every year. The community here has a country, family kind of feel, with many families attending our monthly Intergenerational Grow Service.
Worship
We invite you to come and join us as we praise and glorify our Lord at our church services, which are usually held here at 8.30am each Sunday. (Please see our worship & events calendar to confirm service times.)
Our history
This area was originally known as Duck Creek. Many Lutheran families moved into the area establishing the congregation and first building in circa 1893. The current church building was built in 1910 and was dedicated the following year. A Lutheran school functioned across the road from 1906 to 1948, and a church hall was added in 1949. The original manse next door was built in 1906 and was used by the resident pastor until the 1950s before it was destroyed by fire in 1985. A similar style building has since been rebuilt and is privately owned. Zion, Trungley Hall and Trinity, Temora functioned as two congregations in the same parish before becoming one congregation (Temora Lutheran Community Church) in 2000.
