The season before Easter is called ‘Lent’. This has a slightly sombre tone as we spend extra devotional time focusing on our need for Jesus to forgive us and make us right with God. This helps us appreciate what Jesus did for you and me at Easter – dying on the cross and rising to new life.
Please use Lent as an opportunity to take up extra time in God’s Word. To assist you, we have provided a devotion booklet for Lent. In love, God sent His Son to redeem the world. In hatred, He was rejected. In Behold Your King!, we see the Saviour stripped of His dignity, led away, and crucified on our behalf. No one could imagine this condemned and forsaken Man was God in the flesh sent to liberate us from our sin by His death and resurrection.
