Theme Verse make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19 NLT) Focus What does it mean to be baptised into the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and live as a disciple?
Theme verse “why are you standing here staring into heaven?” (Acts 1:11, nlt) Something to Remember If the disciples kept looking up, they would have missed what God was doing around them.
Theme verse Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) Remember Many are saying it doesn’t matter what you believe. But Jesus says it does matter! It’s a matter of life and death.
Theme Verse Jesus says, “Those who come in through me will be saved. … My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” (John 10:9-10, NLT) Remember True life is only found in Jesus Christ.
Theme Verse Jesus himself suddenly came and began walking with them. But God kept them from recognizing him. (Luke 24:15b-16, NLT) Remember God is with us and at work in our lives even if we don’t recognise him.
Theme Verse There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. (1 Peter 1:6b-7a, NLT) Something to Remember Difficult times are both character building and character revealing. But we are not alone. Jesus is here with us.

How quickly things can change. But not all change is bad. Jesus changes and transforms our lives.
The impact of praying for others. A modified 5 finger prayer, including praying for our enemies, or those who make us feel small, or we think are too small or unworthy to bother with. And a call/challenge to pray for families in our congregation.
Pray about everything – Let’s not judge if it’s too small an issue for God to handle. If it matters to you, it matters to God! Want your prayers to have IMPACT? Then, I nclude a M ixture of P raising, A sking, C onfessing and T hanksgiving
